It's been nearly a year without any activity on this comm. I'm not sure how much longer LJ will last however, so here's a semi-social post just to stir the pot and break the ice and whatever other metaphors you want.

How many of you are going to Costume College this weekend? If not CoCo, what other events might you attend?

No Costume College for me, or any other big events like that. :-( I haven't been sewing much lately, but I'm moving back home to the land of SCA events closer than 5 hours away, so maybe I will for once in my life get off my butt and actually take process photos while I sew.

I'm here in Ireland so no Costume College for me. I am working on something for an event called Raglan Fair in Wales. It's a grey wool Norman style overdress with some lovely hand embroidery curtecy of my personal embroiderer (my Mom). She just finished the neck facing so I can start putting the pieces together. We may or may not get the embroidery for the sleeves done but knowing my Mom she's gonna make it happen :-) The first priority though is making sure that the linen underdress is done first though. Can't go running around without underwear.

No CoCo for me, but I'm eyeing Dress U next year, since it's local.
